I look at you,
And imagine,
What it would be like,
If you touched me
And smokey becomes the air,
It's like you are there,
I can feel you everywhere
I feel your fingers,
Trace their way down my face,
And as they cross my lips,
I swear your fingers I can taste
And out my tongue slips,
And those fingers I lick,
And those fingers my teeth nip
I can hear your breath,
And I can sense the sweat,
As it falls ever so slowly,
From your chin
I can feel it hit me,
And it raises the temperature of my body,
Over 100 degrees
Your fingers slide past my ear,
And so clear I can hear,
Your voice softly,
Say that you love me
And there is a tingle in my sp

Fingers go through the motions.
Letters that used to be you now look bizarre.
They're not they same without you tracing them along with me.
The sand doesn't feel the same.
Not without your hand running through it.
Our fingers locked together; never meant to fall apart.
But just as every small piece of sand slips through my fingers,
So did you.
I didn't have to slip away.
The fists you made left me falling,
Falling until there was no you and me left.
All I have now is sand and abstract letters.
Sometimes I still find pieces of you left here.
But I can't put them together.

I think a lot of people can relate to this feeling - putting the needs of another before their own; a willingness to perform any feat in satisfying them. It's lovely.
